The Shoes

The Mad Rock Drifter is part of their Classic series, which aims to emulate traditional rock boots, with the cutting edge technology of current performance shoes.

An entry level shoe which offers comfort, support, edging and grip....... exactly what any aspiring climber wants in a shoe. Similarly, climbing traditionalists who value comfy footwear for smearing and all day wear will find these shoes perfect.

This shoe offers high quality materials and sticky rubber combined with velcro to allow for quick adjustment of fit and an easy on-off solution of those long days or hard routes. Perfect for indoor or outdoor use.

The obvious rules apply, go down half a size to a full size from your street shoe for a comfy to mid range fit and go down a further half size to get more performance out of these shoes.

Remember, not all climbing shoes will suit one person's feet as each shoe has a different shape and volume toebox.

The innovative PSi series waist belts uses Mad Rock's exclusive sculpted air pockets that are thicker where you need padding and leave space for breathability and maximum comfort. These mini air bags are filled with inert gas, and offer greater protection under loads than foam alone.
