New Temporary Access to Bronkies

There are new temporary access arrangements for Bronkies. The Dept of Water Affairs are repairing the gravel road leading up to the dam wall.

When approaching from the Pretoria side, instead of using the usual gravel road turn-off continue driving for about 500m and take the next road to the right. There is a Dept of Water Affairs and Forestry sign.

Continue until you get to a T-junction and turn right and then immediately left (+- 50m). Drive along until river and park there on the left somewhere. There are some stones leading you to the river on the right approaching the old house, some logs and trees span the river for crossing.

Remember to pay the R20 access at the bookman close to the river.
